  • What time is the festival?
    The festival goes from 10AM to 7PM. Gates open at 9AM.
  • Is there a street address for GPS purposes?
    Yes! You can use 550 Taylor Ave, Annapolis, MD 21401 to navigate to the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
  • Is there parking?
    Parking is available on the grounds of the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at Gate 2 on Farragut Road. Please visit our Directions & Parking page for more information.
  • What if it rains?
    The festival is held rain or shine! However, in the case of severe weather, a rescheduled date in October will be announced.
  • Do I need a ticket?
    No! Tickets are not required and admission to the festival is free. However you can let us know that you plan to attend on our Facebook page.
  • Is there seating?
    While there will be some seating provided, availability is not guaranteed. Bringing your own lawn chair or portable seat is highly suggested.
  • Is the festival handicap accessible?
    Yes! The festival provides handicap accessible portable restrooms and there are handicap parking spaces near the festival entrance. However there is no guarantee these spaces will be open due to the number of festival attendees. For accommodation requests, please contact us at kuntakintecelebrations@gmail.com .
  • Are pets allowed?
    Yes! But please refer to Annapolis city, Anne Arundel County, and/or Maryland state animal leash laws for further guidance.
  • Is alcohol permitted?
    No alcohol or drug use is permitted.
  • Can I bring food from outside?
    No outside food is permitted on the lot.
  • What type of vendors/activities will be at the festival?
    There will be around 200 vendors including arts and crafts, food, and community/education vendors, along with a children's activity tent!
  • Are coolers allowed on the lot?
    No coolers are permitted, soft drinks are available for purchase at the KKHF table.
  • How many people attend the festival?
    Over 10,000 people attended the festival in 2023. We are planning for a bigger, better festival each year. In addition to tour buses from out of state that travel specifically to the festival, the festival is also an annual tradition for many Annapolitans.
  • Where will vendors be stationed in relation to the main stage & entrance?
    Proximity to the main stage and entrance can depend on electricity needs and turning in applications early (first come, first serve).
  • What are the setup and breakdown procedures?
    Vendors will receive setup and breakdown procedures, once accepted and paid in full, in the weeks prior to the festival. There will also be a virtual vendor orientation scheduled.
